High Voltage Services

Management of electrical and mechanical assets for high voltage systems

At the heart of every project, we prioritize a comprehensive understanding of your electrical and mechanical assets. This in-depth knowledge, combined with our commitment to high voltage safety protocols, empowers us to optimize project execution for increased system availability and reduced costs.

Uninterrupted Operations:
High system availability is paramount for successful project planning and execution. Our meticulous planning process is backed by the expertise and experience of our senior authorized in-house team. This rigorous approach is fundamental to delivering the highest safety and quality standards.

Global asset managers

Our asset managers oversee a range of services for our clients, all supported by comprehensive reports and procedures. These services include full network management of high voltage AC & DC systems, high voltage switching, preventative maintenance, protection testing, 24/7 country-specific emergency response and technical support.

Electrical and mechanical global safety rules

Our team works with and implements high voltage safety rules across high voltage AC & DC networks up to 400kV. We have proven our ability to train and develop people both in the UK and abroad using our industry-recognised training process PATH. Our in-house team has extensive experience in authoring safety rules suitable for companies to adopt.

Senior authorised persons and training

We have a proven track record of successfully training technicians to the Authorised Person (AP) level, as well as assisting Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) in advancing to higher authorisation levels. We can also train Control Engineers in being authorised for use in Operations and Maintenance.

Control room

From managing the live operational network and releasing equipment from service to consenting to the issue of safety documents, our control centre team are available 24/7 365 days a year to support your asset management requirements.

Commissioning

Our approach ensures all components are commissioned to meet the set requirements and reduces any threats to the system’s operation and future integrity.

When the operation of electrical assets isn’t just defined by geographical locations such as onshore or offshore, but also within a larger transmission and distribution system, the relationships in a commissioning process must run smoothly. This responsibility falls on our system operation team.

By providing support with High Voltage Asset Integrity for both construction projects and the operations and maintenance phases, we run as a synergy to exceed all expectations and requirements.

Fault management

When the clock is ticking and the pressure is on to return the system back to service, the ability to rapidly diagnose and implement a rectification plan is essential.

We can provide complete support from start to finish, from diagnosis through to managing safety from the system and contractor management to commissioning and return to service.

BoP Electrical Services

Offshore transmission system (OFTO) O&M services

Managing the transition from a construction site to an operating asset and subsequently to the new operating owner requires a complex range of stakeholders to be managed. Our knowledge and experience enable both a smooth transition between lifecycle stages and ensure optimal performance of the asset.

Our services include managing work on the asset, training and developing the team, performing BoP electrical asset maintenance, implementing special projects, and managing and manning the control room.
